Three factors, no more:
1. Distance to the nearest carrier. We don't have a garage in every city — we have a network. If you're in Tallinn, the nearest available carrier is usually a few kilometers away. If you're in a sparsely populated area, they are further away, and that distance represents a real cost that someone has to bear.
2. Vehicle type. A four-wheel-drive car, automatic transmission, electric and hybrid cars, and damaged cars must be transported on a flatbed tow truck, which is more expensive equipment than a wheel-lift tow truck. Vans and SUVs require a more powerful vehicle than a small passenger car.
3. Service type. Towing is more expensive than an on-site solution. That's why the dispatcher consciously tries to find out if towing can be avoided — see towing or on-site assistance.
