What the dispatcher asks
Three things, always in the same order:
- Location. Road number and kilometer, intersection, gas station, gas station sign, or house number. If you don't know where you are, say what you see out the window.
- Vehicle. Make, model, approximate age, and whether it's a front-wheel, rear-wheel, or all-wheel-drive car. This determines which tow truck is needed.
- What happened. When it started, what sound the car is making, whether it was moving normally before that.
Based on these three answers, you will get an estimated price and arrival time already during the call, before anyone sets out. You don't have to agree to anything you don't know.
On-site assistance or towing
On-site assistance is generally cheaper than towing service, so the dispatcher consciously tries to find out if towing can be avoided. If you are unsure which is needed, the page towing or on-site assistance will help.
Price and surcharges
In the center of Tallinn, towing service starts from 65 €, in Harjumaa 75 €. At night, on weekends, and on public holidays, the surcharge is 0 € — the price does not change with the time of day. There are no additional fees: we do not charge a separate per-kilometer fee or call-out fee.
Elsewhere in Estonia, the price depends on the distance to the nearest carrier, the type of vehicle, and the type of service. You will get the exact price immediately during the call, before departure. The full model is described on the page towing assistance price.
